Independent Specialist Dietitian

Rachael Colley is a UK Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of experience across both the NHS and freelance practice and is the co-founder of The Long Haul Dietitian.

When health becomes complicated, understanding matters.  For many people, the hardest part isn’t knowing what they should be eating. It’s understanding why eating well has become so difficult.  Conflicting advice, changing symptoms and the sense that nothing quite fits together can leave people feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.

Rachael is a specialist dietitian who helps people make sense of that complexity.  Known for her calm, thoughtful approach, she works alongside people to help them recognise the patterns influencing their health, enabling them tomove beyond confusion towards practical, sustainable ways of eating and living well.

Her aim is that every person leaves an appointment feeling clearer than when they arrived, with greater confidence, a renewed sense of direction and the possibility of thriving, even in the trickiest of situations.

Rachael has contributed nationally to dietetic guidance, education and service development.  She has a particular passion for helping people to live well despite experiencing multiple and complex health challenges.
