Dr. Nicki Gill

MBChB, MRCGP, AFMCP

Dr. Nicki Gill is an experienced NHS General Practitioner with a strong interest in women’s health and neurodiversity. Her journey began in Warwickshire, where she trained and worked as a GP. She progressed to become Clinical Lead, overseeing several GP practices, and eventually took on leadership roles, including her position as Medical Director for urgent care and out-of-hours services in the West Midlands.

Dr Gill’s interest in functional medicine grew from personal experiences, and she was continually amazed by the wealth of research showing that food is medicine highlighting the impact our lifestyle and environment can have on our health.  She vehemently believes in addressing the root causes of illness rather than merely treating symptoms and is committed to integrating conventional medicine with functional practices.

After completing the AFMCP with the Institute of Functional Medicine, she went on to complete the advanced module in gastrointestinal health. She actively attends conferences to stay updated on the ever-evolving field of functional medicine and works closely with various labs and botanical manufacturers to ensure that the testing they conduct meets the highest standards, allowing for precise and effective care.
